Upward Digital LLC was created to build better connections between the needs of brand advertisers, online publishers, digital pioneers, and content creators in their efforts to reach the right audiences. The content and online publishing side is full of immensely talented creators who are having to settle for whatever the ad networks are bringing in, which often is creative that degrades their user experiences, and cheap CPMs that hardly support the value of what they’ve developed. And, brand advertisers, who are needing to engage more than ever with audiences — particularly in these economic times — aren’t being served by one-size-fits-all marketing solutions being presented to them. Upward Digital is here to build the bridges, create the connections, and most of all bring true value to the advertising and content experience. Content matters. Advertising matters. One can enhance and enable the other, and deliver audiences. The connections just need to be made. Upward Digital is currently serving numerous clients on a variety of fronts.
Matt Stodder has been developing integrated sales and marketing programs for a decade. He was the sales products lead for LAUNCH.com/Yahoo! Music, and created a number of pioneering music marketing sales initiatives. He then became head of the Ad Solutions team for all of Yahoo! Entertainment. He left Yahoo! to build a sales strategy team for Gorilla Nation, the world’s largest online publisher rep firm. In this role, Stodder worked with medium-sized publishers with their ad strategies and solutions, and helped sell them to brand advertisers.
Stodder has created successful, integrated marketing programs for a broad array of brand advertisers, including Pepsi, Coca Cola, GM, Toyota, Nissan, Boost Mobile, Summit Entertainment, Universal Pictures, Paramount, NBC, Verizon, AT&T, P&G, JCPenney and Target.
In October 2009, Stodder left Gorilla Nation to create Upward Digital LLC. He wanted to apply his years of experience to an even wider range of digital product owners and pioneers seeking to monetize their businesses in this rapidly changing advertising climate.

Over the last 15 years, Jamie Crystal has partnered with sales and product teams across digital media (Yahoo! and Federated Media), television (FX Networks) and print media (Los Angeles Times) to drive revenue opportunities, meet market trends and develop advertising solutions for Fortune 500 advertisers.
She has successfully executed and sold integrated marketing programs as well as National promotions with such clients as Paramount Pictures, Philips, Verizon Wireless, AT&T, JCPenney, Acura, and P&G.
Jamie joined Upward Digital LLC as VP, Business Development to apply her experience in digital, television and print media to help media companies and their advertisers capitalize on unique products and content experiences, while driving revenue, marketing objectives, and ongoing connections with consumers.
